For Mom

This picture was taken in Buffalo, New York in the summer of 1956. I had been staying with Auntie M. for two weeks . I'd had a great time but I couldn't wait to see my mother's face again.
I know you can't see her face in this picture, which I have carried in my wallet for years. That's okay. Even though it's been eighteen years this time, I can.

I love you Mom and I miss you.

Happy Mother's Day.

Love,

Marcie

Auntie M. Sent it to me several years ago. She took it when you and mom arrived to pick me up. Thinking about it now I'll bet it was in New Jersey before they moved to Buffalo. I'll get Sage to end you a copy. He scanned it for me today.
